The 2nd book is in the Scholar's house (near the builder's log cabin). to get into the house talk to the librarian in charge of bringing books back. the scholar should then let you in. get some water in a bottle and put out the scholar's fire. go to the builder's log cabin (beside the river above the broken bridge) and become a minish. go out of the cabin and go into the scholar's house. Go up the chimney and then go through the house with the funny looking man. go across the plank over the river and to the maze thing with the cats. try to avoid these cats coz they hurt you. go through the maze thing and climb down the shoot to the fountain. kill all the monsters and solve the puzzles to get the power bracelets. go back to the scholar's house and move the wardrobes so that you can go upstairs. go up and suck all the dust up and some splitting tiles should appear. split in 2 and stand on the book in the top left corner. there should already be a minish standing on it. when you stand on it it will fall down (and so will you). become normal sized again and go into the house. collect the book and go to the library. give the book back and there you go. hope I've helped.
