The first safehouse that Niko shares with Roman is in Hove Beach, Broker, but once Niko has assassinated Faustin and is double-crossed by Dimitri, that apartment (along with Roman's taxi business) will be firebombed, leaving the boys without a home. Roman rings Mallorie, who originates from Bohan, and asks if any members of her family have a spare place that he and Niko can use. Mallorie tells Roman that there is an apartment on Joliet Street in Bohan where the boys will be safe. That is how the second safehouse is acquired in GTA IV.
