How do you get the thunder gun in black ops?

The freeze gun can only be found in the mystery box on the map "FIVE". Its actually called Winter's Howl.

You have to keep using the weapon box its not on the walls, OR, get it in the mission "Numbers".

First you get abducted by aliens and after the anal probing you have to break the restraints and wrestle the ray gun away from them. Take control of the ship the crash land it on the map.
