first you have to get to the peak of the mountain with shaymin, then when you go back down, use the drifblim gondola to go to the highest it will let you. after that hike the rest and talk to shaymin, he will ask you if he can become part of your exploration team, say yes, and he will be yours!!(he will ask you no fight) use a gracieda flower to change him to his flying form, its really cool looking

After you graduate the guild i think. What happens is there will be a crowd at Spinda's shake bar thingy, and Wynaut's recycling watchamacallit. Everyone will be going up the mountain and try to reach the sky summit, which is part of project P. At the bottom of the mountain, there is a village of Shaymin. Bring a Shaymin with you and there will be one boss (a bunch of Carnivine) along the way. You will be fighting the Carnivine with Team Frontier. There are 10 clearings. At the end (I think) of the 10th clearing (the final clearing), you will have to fight sevral Grimer and Muk with Team Frontier again (i think). Done.
