How do you get through the fog to banana island in zelda?

use your light sword and then do the spin attack so most of the darkness thing will go away right after you do the spin attack charge through and your across.

use your lantern and swipe in by pressing 'b' (for the purple fog)

First go to Molida island and dig a hole in front of a palm tree that grows near the entrance to the cave. Instead of digging up dirt a massive hole will form, just fall into it and you will be in this underground room that leads to the cave behind the travellers house and a sun key door. In this room there is a dairy on a table thats written from the traveller to his son saying that he finally found a way through the fog and he hopes his son is looking after his mother. On the back wall there is a twisty,complicated map on how to get through the fog and the locations of a few other islands aswell.
