I think you must either complete buried relic and/or add some friend areas. There are certain ones you must get, a sea one I think.
my answer:
you need to buy the friend area "secretive forest" and it will unlock the darknight relic.
try my method because i already have the darknight relic believe me.
P.s be careful there,it is full of ghost type Pokemon and i think it has 15 floors maybe.
