The standard strategy is to use the chair to get onto the table and jump off to perform a combo or to cast Blizzard (which you should receive for finding all of the clues). After Trickmaster has taken enough damage, he'll droop down to the floor where you can hit him more easily. Sometimes the chair will disappear and you will have to survive until it reappears.
