How do you get to the gold mine on wild west island?

U get the badge from the marshal.

Next, u go to the Marshal building thing and talk to him.

He gives u a pea shooter.

Next u go to Rock Ridge and click on the canary to get the key from him.(he's by the mine)

Then u just click on the mine door.

Shoot the key to get it from the canary, then go to the mine entrance. Climb into the cart to start the ride. The only thing to do on the very long ride is shoot the red target on each of the switches to change the track. When you are done, you end in the dark place where the blue tulip is. Jump on the rock and get it. But the mine will collapse and you will find yourself near the surface. Climb the rope to exit the mine, and take the blue tulip to the big-headed boy in Dos Cactos.

Its not a mine, its a claim at a stream. Play Slapjack at the casino in Dos Cactos, and you win the claim map. Go to Rock Ridge and recover the calf for the girl rancher to get an old saddle. You can swap it for a gold pan at the Trading post in Dusty Gulch.

At the claim site, dip the pan at each of the shiny spots, then splash away the sand slowly to find the gold. When you find a large nugget, go to Rock Ridge and buy the tonics from the peddler (R.J. Earl).

*The mine (upper right) at Rock Ridge has no gold, but there is a rare blue flower inside. Shoot the key from the claws of the canary on the roof, and use it to enter the mine. Take the flower to the big-headed kid in Dos Cactos.
