"Spy headquarters" is where the good-guys are, the large building where you land on Spy island. The hideout for B.A.D. is to the far right of the island, past Toupee Terrace. (see related question)
There is no key on Spy Island. The "vault" holding the first spy has a large hole in its ceiling. The door at the BAD hideout (satellite control station) is opened using a fingerprint from the BAD Bistro. (see related questions)
The BAD Hideout is to the right of Toupee Terrace, the farthest point to the right on the island. It is protected by lasers and is the last part of the island quest. To enter, you need the Ultra Vision Goggles and the Fingerprint from the BAD Bistro.
To complete Spy Island on Poptropica, rescue each of the 3 missing spies (in order) and acquire the spy items and the fingerprint from the Bistro. Then you can enter the BAD hideout to the right of Toupee Terrace. (There are complete solutions at both of the related questions.)
Get the fingerprint from the B.A.D. Bistro. With that and the Ultra-Vision Googls, you can enter the BAD Hideout to the right of Toupee Terrace. (see related question)
This is a known glitch in the Spy Island program. Sometimes during the final battles (mini-bots or Director D) they will stop attacking you. You have to reboot Poptropica and play the sequence of the hideout over again.
The decoded messages from the three spies read "LASER HAIR REMOVAL", which are the passwords to reactivate the B.A.D. teleporter in their hideout.
The Ultra-Vision goggles on Spy Island are provided by the third rescued spy, and the spies must be rescued in order : first then second then third. The goggles allow you to see the laser beams at the B.A.D. hideout at the far right of the island.
On Spy Island, Toupee Terrace is the right-most area of the island, and includes two locations used in the game. The first is the electrified building, where the Second Spy is being held. The second is the B.A.D. hideout to the far right, which is protected by lasers. To save the second spy, climb the building and avoid the electric zaps. Once you have rescued the third spy, and have the Fingerprint from the Bistro, you can enter the BAD hideout, transport to the satellite, and face the final battle there. Once you have won, you should transport automatically back to the Spy Headquarters. If you do not, use the transporter to return to the control center, then walk back to Spy Headquarters on Main Street to receive your Medallion.Battle Glitch : if either the mini-bots or Director D stop moving, reboot Poptropica and replay the hideout sequence. The problem should not repeat.
