How do you get to the top of the water tower on Early poptropica?

It is the final stage of recovering the missing items. You have to get the glow stick, enter the underground to recover the pig and a Golden Egg. The in the clouds, the Purple Giant will take the egg to let you enter his garden in the clouds. There you will find the water bucket and a jetpack, with which you can fly to the top of the tower and retrieve the signal flag.

The water tower is on Main Street in Early Poptropica, right next to the diner and arcade. This is just to the right of where you enter the island in the middle of mainstreet,it is very hard to miss, you are going to the water tower to get the flag for the pilgrims, and you cant get the flag until you go up the beam stalk with the giant, give the giant his golden egg you found underground,then the giant will give you a jet pack in which you use to fly up and get the flag on top of the water tower.To get to the beam stalk you go on the road with the man that has ballons,then you jump up a red building that says roof top resteraunt or something like that, and on the very top of that building will be a vine [beam stalk] go up it and it will lead you to where you need to go. The missing signal flag is on top of the water tower. The only way to get it is to complete the rest of the island. It is the last item recovered, because you need a jetpack to fly up there.

You don't fix the tower. The leak is designed to make you curious enough to look up there, and once you have the jet pack, you can reach the top.
