Well for it to go to the top you complete the goals and or wishes.For example if you had the family aspiration your wants would be to get a job , fall in love , get married and have a baby.If you have the Sims 2 Nightlife you can complete lifetime wishes which make your aspiration stay at the top automatically if you fulfill that. or you can hit SHIFT~Ctrl~C then type aspirationlevel 28
