Your baby will begin walking himself when he is ready for it. All you can do is provide him good nutrition , keep him happy and healthy.

Your baby will take his own time trying to understand how and when he can start walking. You might see him struggling to do the same by the end of the 12th month . However, If you haven't yet then don't worry your baby is just taking his time.

Your baby should be active and should show other body movements like kicking his legs, waving his hands , crawling , sitting or atleast trying to do them.

You can encourage your baby to perform different movements by showing him things he can react to. Grab his attention by showing him a toy. Ask him to come closer to you.

Make sure you dont over burden the baby or put stress over him. If you wish to introduce a walker ask a pediatrician first.

Massage his legs and back to improve muscle tone and blood circulation , keep his diet proper. Breastfeeding along with semi solid food which is wholesome , healthy and home made is the best one for him.

You can take your child to a pediatrician and see if he is growing well or not. A pediatrician will examine your baby and tell you what more he might need to become healthier.
