you can not do it at all
you need to have a small sword that looks easy to hold in one hand e.g. a dagger or a thieves knife
Either find one on the ground, or go to the tutorial.
The commoner's sword could be considered a short sword, yes. It is a main hand sword, so it is intended to be used with one hand, and short swords are one handed.
Either buy one for 50k or make one by smithing.
After tutorial island you are given a bronze sword. With this kill monsters, raise money, to buy a higher, better one
It could be one of two swords on Free to play Runescape. 1) A training sword. This sword is one of Runescapes worst swords and can be obtained for free from the Melee tutor in Lumbridge. 2) A Burite Sword. Roughly equivalent to a steel longsword, this sword is obtained during the Knight's Sword Quest, by making 2 swords, not one. Neither sword is very powerful unless you are a defensive pure in which case the Burite Sword is the best sword you can wield. Hope I helped!
they said it's about 50 kg. it is a one hand sword
Atwo handed sword is usually much heavier and the handle is usually bigger a one handed sword is only held in one hand and can be lighter

John Adams described the petition as an effort to "Keep open the door of reconciliation, to hold the Sword in One hand and the olive branch in the other."
the second floor of runescape has a npc walking around with it talk to him he will hand you one.
