How do you install The Sims Unleashed game without the original Sims CD?

first of all, you need The Sims 1 installed.

1. Insert the disk.

2. There should be an autorun. This will lead you to an installation wizard.

3. Agree to all unagreed checkboxes, insert the code [on the back of the leaflet given with the box]

4. Easy enough, you should be done. Well done, go play.

Note~ if it does not automatically run, you will need to open My computer > Disk [usually E: drive on my own computer.] This should then go to the wizard.

Just go to Add/Remove programs and look for Sims or The Sims (which ever one), if its an expansion and your just wanting to uninstall the expansion then your out of luck, it basically combines the expansions with the game so you cant uninstall just the expansions.

you can't the expansion packs just build on the basic setup of the original CD

In the same way you installed The Sims 3 base game. Simply insert the game into the CD drive and once prompted, enter the serial code provided with the new expansion pack.
