you go through it (north) until you are at a dead end. Then you turn left and catch the squirtle. Exit the room and go back and you will see a nosepass. Use it to break the big rock in the room and there is a gastridon. catch it when the blue puddles are not behind it. Then go back to the previous room and there is a red machine. Use gastridon's ability to destroy the machine. Crawford will then call the strongest person in Almia (Big Bertha) to bring it over to the ranger base. Walk back and then you are done.
