They will stay in the bank, however if you have passed the limit for non members, you will still keep those items, but you wont be able to store any more items inside the bank, meaning if you take an item out, you can't put it back in.

If you refer to RuneScape - since you posted the question in the RuneScape forum - you don't get any free items for registering your email. What you do get is 10 extra spaces in the bank, helping you store more types of items. You also get greater safety, in case your account is hacked - for now you can use the email to recover the account.
