It's easy! If your female sim starts getting tired a lot and shows up with a big belly then she is pregnant! Pregnant sims tend to always be tired and they always want to go to bed or are always in bed. If your sim has a big belly and her PJs and clothes change without you changing them then she is pregnant!
Also, once you pick Try For Baby, you'll know it worked because you'll hear some sort of tune to a lullaby. If your sim is pregnant, make sure to go to the Day Spa a lot. It improves their mood and I think it gets rid of Nausea. Hope this helped!
