How do you make Grand Theft Auto iv work on windows 7?

You can't its not compatible with windows 7 if you want to play it you gotta have to install windows XP... don't listen to anyone when they say you have to have windows 7 ultimate or use demon tool or stuff like that, that's bull crap...

You can play it on windows 7 .. yes ... all you need to do is ... : see if your pc meets the minimal requirements .. if it does ..... did you run it on some previous version of windows ... and it worked fine .. ? if it did ... you need to adjust the compatibility to windows xp in the compatibility tab after right clicking on the gtasa.exe and selecting properties .. that's probably all you need to do & if that doesn't work either , open the control panel in windows 7 , click system , "advanced system settings" and then "settings" and click the "Data Execution Prevention" tab , turn it on (if it's not already) , click add and select the gtasa.exe as like an exception if all failz , buy a new gtasa copy c'uz that one's probably corrupt or something .. and you have to reinstall it on windows 7 or any new window because just saving it in a disk before installing new windows and copying it on the new one mostly never works ... hope i answered your question .. :)

I have gta iv on windows 7 and it works perfectly. Maybe you dont have the right version of direct x.
