How do you make a Minecraft armor?

Plate armor is made from thin sheets of metal, often steel. The metal is cut to a rough shape and then hammered to give it its final shape and texture. Pieces are joined with rivets, often done so as to allow movement.

It depends on what kind of armor you want to make. Chain maille is probably the easiest. Coil a wire around some kind tube or another cylindrical object, and then cut it. You have to then attach the rings together. Its a long and tedious process, and some techniques are hard to do. http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/miscellaneous/9080/ the first picture to the right, you should start off with. just search for something like "chain maille techniques" or chain maille designs" and you should find alot of stuff. If you want to make plate, well. Its rather hard to do. The easiest way is to rivet sheets of metal together. Have your 'base' sheet, where all your rivets go to... so for instance, the basic curve of a helmet, you will need something by your ear, then rivet many pieces of long sheets of metal, curved to fit your head to the peice by your ear. Attach some kind of cushion to the underside of the sheets. If you want it to rest on your shoulders, then you need to also attach sheets that will fit there..... It will help to have something to weld with. cut the metal to make curves etc... Its probably easier to think it out on your own rather than have somemone explain it to you... i gotta go, logic bro. If you are referring to the plate body itself, you have to have two things:

- Ebony Ingot(s) ~ Bought around various black smithing shops around Skyrim

- 1 Daedra Heart ~ Bought from Enthir in the College of Winterhold

You will need armor material: Leather, Iron Ingots, Gold Ingots, or Diamond. (Diamond as the best)...you can get Leather from killing cows, iron ingots from smelting iron ore, gold from smelting gold ore, and diamonds are mined from diamond ore. Helmet: to the far left in your crafting table, place your armor material in the middle block, one above it, one to the right of the top one, one to the right of the right one, another one to the right of the right one, and one below the last right one. Chestplate: place armor materials in all places but the top middle piece, Leggings: Start at the bottom right and go all the way around the outside of the crafting table, but do not put one in the middle middle block or the bottom middle block. Boots: Starting in the lower left corner of the crafting table, put on there and right above it, do the same to the other side
