well first if you have a build a bear, or not you can log on and make an account free! you make your own avatar with tons of options of hair and clothing. you can pick your name and pass (mine is tiffanyawesome172) and then..... your a build a bear citizen! you will then get a tour and $1,000 bear bills (like money) for you to spend on clothes, food, furniture ect... if you have a furry friend, use your map and click on the building that says "build a bear workshop" once your there, click on the bear worker champ, and type your animal id and key code which is on your birth certificate. you then have brought your furry friend to life! you will get some prizes and your bear only virtual! after that try to earn alot of bear bills. the more you can get, the more stuff you can buy! if you have store credits, you can get rides and clothes and homes! and more! but they are exclusive because every thing you buy at a local workshop you get them! no your reciept! after that, go wild on there and have fun!

∙ 14y agoIt is not necessarily just bears, its because there is more bears and when it all started it was probably all bears and build a dog or build a cat and penguin doesn't slide as well
It may also be that a teddy bear is considered a traditional stuffed animal.

∙ 13y agoWhen you enter the store you chose your favorite furry friend off the shelves, then you can give your furry friend a sound. (optional.) After you have made your decision it's time to stuff your furry friend, and give it a heart. When your friend is all stuffed up with as much stuffing as you like, you give it a bath. (a little plastic tub with 'shower heads' that blow air.) After he/she is all 'clean' it's time to choose a outfit! (optional.) Then, you take your furry friend to the computer, and make it a Birth Certificate, where you get to name it! And finely, you take home your very best friend!
