How do you make a sim and move it in with the sim you are currently playing in Sims 3?
Without cheats, you basically you have to have your sims get really close (friendship wise) and eventually the "ask sim to move in" option will pop up.
Another option is to simply open the cheat menu (ctrl + shift + c) then type "testingcheatsenabled true" Now, invite the sim you want to move in over, or just find them somewhere. When you found them, Shift + Click on them and select "Add to active household" This will make your house that Sims house as well. You won't be married or anything, just moved in. If you decide you don't want them in your household anymore, just get them to move out via the phone or computer. But do NOT shift + click them and just say DELETE. This will permanently delete them from the town/world, and all your relationship and everything will just disappear.
That way is much faster than getting to know your sims enough to move in. If you're cheat-phobic, it doesn't affect anything, it just adds them as playable characters in your home.
