How do you make a table in mine craft?

If you mean a crafting table, then you have to get 1 block of wood from a tree, open your inventory, put it in the 2x2 table, get wooden planks, and then put 2x2 wooden planks in the 2x2 inventory table.

You could use fenceposts, with either wooden slabs or pressure plates on top. You can make more formal looking ones with blocks of wool, or log blocks with snow (fallen snow not a snow block) on top, along with pressure plates as place mats.

Take a log of any kind if you haven't already and put it in the crafting squares of your inventory (the four next to your avatar.) Then take the resulting stack of four pieces of wood and divvy it up into the crafting squares so that there's one in each and none are left empty. This will create a crafting table for you.
