How do you make a tool?

First you must have a crafting table which you can get by putting a log in the crafting area to get 4 wood planks and then filling the crafting area with the wood planks.

Once you put down the crafting table right click it to open a 3x3 crafting area which is where you will make the tools.

All tools use sticks which are made by putting one wood plank over another.

The tools are made as follows

o= empty

\=stick

x= wood planks (wood tools) cobblestone (stone tools) iron ingots (iron tools) gold ingots (gold tools) diamonds (diamond tools)

Pickax:

Note: all tools can be made by using the mirror of those shown above but cannot be made by putting materials upside down or sideways compared to the ways showed above.
