How do you make a two story house on sims 2?

I don't know how to on any systems other than ps2, but on ps2 go to freeplay mode, go to an area that is 'unoccupied', either create a new family or choose a pre-made one, choose 'go to house' (I'm not sure if that's the exact phrasing exactly, but its pretty darn close.) press start, go to 'build catalog' then I'm sure you can figure it out from there.

You just have to build wall around a lot that you buy and you add rooms and then floors and wallpaper and then furniture and stuff. It is really hard to tell just experiment and try. Answer You have to go into build mode, go to the wall icon and start making your house, then you go to the roof icon and take the cursor thing and bring it to the top of your house and then go across the top and then you can start painting or putting flowers around your house or get a pool or whatever you want ANSWER: u just go 2 build n then u click room n the u select room then u........ i dunno

Alright make walls and join the walls together and then just click on the thing on the tool box area and click on the arrow with the house and it will go up a level and then put walls on the other walls.

You go into build mode first place the driveway that connects to the street . then add an extension of that driveway which is right next to the driveway you just placed. The wall will need to be placed between them. On that same way you can place a garage door, which all next to the driveway in build mode. Put some walls around the driveway extension and roof and you have a garage.

Move your family into a lot then click on build mode (picture of saw) then you will be able to build your own house.
