Okay, In most games the game is set so you use "w" to go forward, "d" to go right, "s" to go down and "a" to go left. this is because your hand fits comfortably here when you are playing a game as "Left Ctrl" in an FPS can be used to crouch. If you use the arrow keys to do this it may feel uncomfortable and awkward as you have one hand pressing "Left Ctrl" and one hand pressing the arrow keys, this means you have no hand to control the mouse. But, there is a bright side if you do not like to play this way as you can go on the option menu whilst in the game your playing and here you can edit the controls to suit your liking. I change "Space" which is Jump in an FPS to "scroll down" on my mouse as it suits me better mainly on CSS.
