There are two ways. One way is the paint editor. There is a paint style that makes a slimy look. The original color should be green. Just click that and change it to whatever color you want. The second way is to press "paint like" and paint it like another creature that is shiny.

Will your creations be deleted if you uninstall Spore for PC?
well you wont be able to use them if you reinstall spore BUT there will be a folder in your documents labled My Spore Creations. hope this helps =]

You cannot do this is spore, only spore galactic adventures. It is luck, but you can change the theme to my creations and some of the epics will have a better chance of being one of yours. Sorry, get GA, its awesome.
How does spore differ from spore creature creator?
Spore Creature Creator is where you can only create creatures and share them online. In Spore, you can bring those creatures to life and into your game. You may meet your different creatures throughout the entire Spore game, by either you, or your friends. You can also choose what content you want to be in your game, either specifically all of your creation or a buddy's. Or if you are looking for something more accurate, you can make a Sporecast of creations and select it.
