you don't..... you plant the seeds and all you can do is wait. But if you plant them before you go to bed and then you check on it as soon as you wake up you might have a moshling. But you have to be careful cause sometimes your flowers turn to rox trees and you can't get a moshling with those.

You do not 'make' a moshling on Moshi Monsters, you 'attract' a moshling to your garden. You plant seeds in your Moshling Garden and wait for the seeds to grow into flowers. If you have the correct kinds of seeds and the flowers are the correct color, then you will attract a moshling to your garden. Click on the moshling and you can choose to keep it or set it free.
What do you do when your plant is ready in moshi monsters?
Check to see if the plant is the correct color for the Moshling you are trying to attract. The Cluekoo in the tree in your Moshling Garden will give you clues for which plants you should keep. Once you have three plants that attract a Moshling, the Moshling will appear in your garden. Click on the Moshling! If any of the plants are not the correct color to attract a Moshling, click on the plant to dig it up and then plant another seed.
Where is the plant button on Moshi Monsters?
Go to your Moshling Garden. Choose the moshling you would like to attract. Then you will see the three seeds you need to plant to attract that moshling and on each seed will be a 'plant' button.
