How do you make your sim a mermaide in The Sims 3?

To make your sim a mermaid in Sims 3 it requires the Island Paradise Expansion Pack.

There are two ways to do this. But I'm gonna stick with the easy one.

While you're in the game playing the family you like, press 'CTRL - SHIFT - C' and type in the text bar that appears above: testingcheatsenabled true (yes, with the space). Then go onto the Lifetime Rewards panel and while holding CTRL left-click on your little chest icon until you get to 25 000 points. You can then purchase the kelp off the Lifetime Rewards menu which your Sim can eat and turn into a mermaid.
