How do you open presents on Animal Crossing?

Talk to him Five times and he'll give you a present change your shirt talk to him two times and he'll give you another present :note you don't have to look for him with the different shirt thing just you can change right in front off him just talk to him two times. with a different shirt Note patterns don't work and you can do it as many times as you want as long as you have different shirts If you use the same shirt twice he wont give a present for that shirt.

gamecube: you can find him randomly. he is somewhere around... whenever u talk to him, (if u talk to him twice in the same acre/place you find him, it wont work) make sure you change ur shirt bc he'll think it's someone else and wont know its u under cover!!

wii: same like gamecube BUT you have to change your shirt AND accessory. he can also be in other animals houses

send a letter to an animal and attach something that you don't like/want. the next day you are playing you should find a letter from the same animal thanking you for the present and a gift should be attached to the letter.

an easier way to get a gift is to shoot down balloons
