Hit the "Use" button while looking at the weapon.

In Swat 3 you collect the weapons the suspects have to prevent other suspects from picking them up and using them. In addition some missions require that all weapons be seized. You cannot use a weapon you have collected.

You don't pick up weapons in Street Fighter. ONLY VEGA AND CODY CAN PICK UP THE ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN KNOCKED OFF OF THEM.
