Because it is an older version (compared to NBA 2k10), it will cost less... The price also depends on what game system you buy it on. The following are average prices for a new copy of NBA 2k9: Xbox 360: $30 Ps2:$20 PC:$20
NBA 2K9 didn't have that huge step up that NBA 2K10 did. When I first got NBA 2K8, I thought, "Wow. This looks like the real thing." A few of the improvements of NBA 2K9 from NBA 2K8: NBA 2K9 had realistic crowd reactions. It also had smooth post and perimeter game play. Now, compare NBA 2k10 with NBA 2K9. NBA 2K10 had My Player Mode. It's basically a career mode in which you create your own player and bring him up throught the draft, and play in all the games. NBA 2K9 didn't have that mode, although NBA Live 09 did. But Live 09 cannot compare to even ESPN NBA 2K4. Another improvement in NBA 2K10 are the menus. 2K9 had more menus than at a restruant, whereas 2K10 is easier to navigate. NBA 2K10 also had NBA Today. Think... Dynamic DNA for the Live series. 2K10 also has improved graphics. On the sidelines, you can see the players in their team respective warm-up suits. For example, if the Lakers were playing the Cavs in Cleveland, L.A. would be wearing their purple-with-gold-sleeves warm-up. Splash-graphics based on real-world stats were also put into the game. Actually, this really factors in the commentary, leading to a much more conversational broadcast experience. For better or worse, gone are the days where you could be controlling KB24 for the entire half using turbo. Now, there is a fatigue factor. If a player is getting tired, he'll start jogging or walking back. I know a whole bunch of people have been taking about frame-rate issues. Well, when I got NBA 2K10, the frame-rate gave me no grief, (I have PS3) and I actually had the smoothest game play ever. Also new are facial animations. They'll yell and pound their chest when they're hyped up. They'll look surprised when they get a hand in their face on a wide open perimeter jumper. They'll frown and grimace when the other team makes a shot, or when they're angry. The arena's atmosphere leads to a much more realistic game. More crowd chants, and they're much more timely. Well, that wraps up the NBA 2K10 WikiAnswers review. For the full detailed review, head over to IGN.com.
Yes
This game requires a higher-end graphics card. Unless your graphics card supports shader model 3.0, you will not even be able to load up the introduction and opening menus of the game. You will get a black screen but might be able to hear the music. The only way to solve this is get a newer graphics card. Source of info: From the NBA 2k9 Readme file: 3.2.1 Shader Model 3.0 Support ------------------------------ NBA 2K9 requires a video card with Shader Model 3.0 support in order to run.
I think so.
The NBA 2k11 for PC game requires the Windows operating system. Therefore Windows will need to be running on the Mac to play the game.
The game does not matter a PS3 can not play where a PC plays can not Play a PC Game and a PC can not play an Xbox 360 or PS3 game. You confuse the name of the game it is BBC2 for PC why would you think the software was OK to play against a PS3 when can you put any PS3 game in your PC and play it.
