Gamecube controller ports are located on the top panel of the Wii console. A rectangular tab can be lifted up to reveal the Gamecube controller ports plus another tab adjacent to the ports can be lifted to reveal Gamecube memory card ports. However newer versions of the Nintendo Wii are not backwards compatible and do not support Gamecube devices.
If the Wii is not backwards compatible and a Gamecube layout is desired, consider using a Wii-classic controller instead.
