How do you put cheats on to a NDS emulator?

to enter cheats go to to the menu/start, then press cheats and you will choose the cheats you want to use in the game for example: Pokemon, cooking mama and etc.after you choose your cheats press SELECT(warning: dont even try to press X

because your game resets and your game file will be lose)and then start the game

At first, you should make sure the r4i gold card is from r4ids.cn which is the one i attached below. Then you will use the latest firmware wood V1.48 now. Actually you don't need to put cheats files in somewhere, because they already have been saved in the wood firmware, you can just activate it when you want to use it.

there should be a cheats in the top menu or something depends on wat emu ur using but some emus dont work with cheats

there is a folder in the SD card, which is for cheat code. You just put the cheat code into that folder. then it can work.
