Sims 3 design and Hi-Tech Stuff is compatible with sims 3 (it is an expansion pack). You get two more hairstyles for each gender and various clothes and furniture. I would not encourage you to buy it , instead i would encourage you to go on the Sims 3 website and onto 'exchange' on here you can download houses, sims, hairstyles, clothing, furniture etc. which is downloaded to your Sims 3 game.
