All you need to do is paste the mod .class files and other needed mod files back in the jar file.
This happenes because the .jar file is the file that gets deleted and replaced and e.g 1.4 mods are not compatible with 1.5 game so it helps to not crash the game.
No. Mods can't get an update on their own. Modders have to update it. Sorry. I am devastated by it also.
You don't need a CD for mods. You don't need a CD for Minecraft at all.
No your have to wait for the mods to update which may take some time.
Yes there will be you just have to wait for the update.
Post your ideas on the Minecraft Forums. There is a thread there for mod ideas
Yes, in a later update
Yes, Mods will be taken away from Minecraft. But that only happens when you update Minecraft. Also if you fail to install a mod and when you enter the game and the screen goes black, then you can close Minecraft and open it again and then tick the box that says Force Update and it will be repaired.
To update a mod, you will have to go to the website that you've found your mod. Redownload it and re-install it.
There are plenty of mods for 1.5.2 sometimes you have to wait for the bigger ones to update, but check out planetminecraft.com under "mods" there should be plenty.
Usually no, most will either crash Minecraft or will not work. You have to wait for the Mod maker to update to the latest version of Minecraft unless they say other wise. It may take a few hours or a few weeks to update mods.
you can get minecraft mods and textures off the minecraft mods website.
force update minecraft to clear all your mods then if you want try again.
