How do you remove the pineapple from the pipe on the roof in super Mario sunshine?

After yo get enought Shine Sprites you will need to catch Shadow Mario. He will have a Yoshi egg. Catch him and hatch the egg. Use it to eat the Pineapple. Go in the pipe and you will be able to go to Siera Beach.(i think that's what its called)
