The "R" button on Game Boy Advance (GBA) emulators typically serves as a mapping for the R shoulder button found on the original GBA hardware. In many emulators, it can be used for various in-game functions, such as activating special abilities in games or navigating menus. Additionally, emulator settings may allow users to customize controls, including remapping the R button to other keys or buttons for convenience.
