To reset an Action Replay to factory settings when the top screen indicates "device corrupted," first, turn off the device and remove the Action Replay cartridge from the console. Next, press and hold the "A" and "B" buttons simultaneously while reinserting the cartridge into the console. Continue holding the buttons until the device powers on, which should initiate a reset process. If this does not resolve the issue, consider updating the firmware or contacting customer support for further assistance.
It means it will return to the original settings when viewing a replay

When you use an action replay 99% of the time your save file will be corrupted and you will have to start the game over.
well the way u reset it is put ur action replay in hold a+b turn on ur Nintendo ds then when it comes on hold selct and start whilst holding a+b and it should restart your memory (WARNING!!!!) YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL YOUR ACTION REPLAY DISC IN TO RE ADD ALL OF YOUR CODES BACK ON TO YOUR ACTION REPLAY AS IT ERASES ALL OF YOUR GAMES AND CODES BUT THE DISC IT COMES WITH CONTAINS ALL THE CODES THAT THE ACTION REPLAY CAME WITH
You download the AR code manager and you can put codes on your Action Replay when the AR is plugged in and if your AR ever is corrupted you can update it!

You need to reset the Action Replay settings by resetting the Factory Settings. Steps (plz have your action replay in the slot plus the game) 1. hold down A+B when the game is turned off 2. turn on the game while you hold A+B down 3. hold down select+start when the loading screen comes on 4. add your game
i tried the code and it almost corrupted my game
That happened to me Help me to
An action replay works with an action replay code manager disk.If the disk doesn't work, you must go to the control panel and find the devices settings. Sometimes it needs a drive so you can edit the action replay cartridge and download the disk as a drive.
