How do you restart an island on poptropica?

You can restart any island by using the small island map at the upper right. There is a "restart island" button on the map that will erase all items and start the island over completely. You cannot, however, earn credits more than once for completing any island using the same username.

You can play as many new usernames as you like. But you cannot combine username credits. For long term players, it is recommended that you register an e-mail address with the site, which would let you recover a lost username or password.

*You can play the TV show on Reality island as many times as you like, and the Medallion will record how many times you win.

You cannot reset islands, or all of Poptropica, once it is played. You can create a brand new username, but it will be entirely separate from your original username.

Many puzzles and challenges on islands do have resets to try them again until you beat them. Some can be played again afterward, and some cannot.

Go to the website, and select "new player". It will ask you to choose a boy or girl character and select your age (lower age players play easier and more numerous ad games than older players). You are given an avatar (character) and you can customize his/her appearance as you like. With your avatar, climb aboard the blimp that takes you to the islands map.

Newcomers should select the easiest island, which is Early Poptropica, in order to gain experience with how the games work. Once you have played a bit, save your character by selecting "Save" or "Save and Quit", the blue button at the lower right. You will create a Username and Password for the character (not the given avatar name).

DO NOT FORGET THE USERNAME OR PASSWORD - There is no password recovery.

When you return to the game later, select Returning Player and enter your Username and password exactly as you recorded them, so that you can continue to play as the same character in approximately the same location as you left.

*Astro Knights Island - If you return to Arturus from space, your spaceship is on top of the castle.

Click on your map in the top right corner of your screen then when your in the map go to the bottom left corner and there is a button there that says "Restart Island."
