This is farther in the game, after the Temple of Time temple. Go to Kakariko Village and get a letter from Renado. Warp to Castle Town, show the letter to Telma and receive the 'Invoice' from her. Go see the doctor on the west side of Castle Town and show him that 'Invoice'. He will tell you about Ilia's statue that has been stolen. Walk over to the crate in the top right corner of the office and transform into a wolf, then push the crate from the left side. Sniff it learn the: 'Medicine Scent'.
Follow the scent that leads to Telma's cat and talk to her. She tells the story of how she stole it but 'skeletal creatures' took it from her. Exit town through the south gate and run to the field at the end of the staircase. Kill them with the energy field (your still a wolf, right?) and snatch the wooden statue that falls randomly from the sky.
Warp to Kakariko and show Ilia the statue. She remembers some stuff and nearby Gorons say they will help you. Follow the mark on your map and meet Darbus in a cave. He will smash the wall and you walk through. Kill all the goblins with your Hawkseye/Arrow combo (you have that, right?). When they are all dead, an elderly woman emerges from her home. You then receive 'Ilia's Charm'. TAAAH DAAAH
Head to Kakariko and show Ilia the charm. Then she'll remember!!!!!!
