You can save the game in several different ways: Reach the end of a bonus stage, obtain a clear gem (white gem), obtain a colored gem, or obtain a key. To reach a bonus stage you must collect 3 tokens with characters faces on it (Tawna, N Brio, and N Cortex) and then reach the end of the stage to go to a save screen. A memory card is required to save the game and if you do not have one you can opt to use the games password system instead.
