Grover doesn't smell any monsters at the Thrill Ride of Love because the trap was specifically designed to hide the scent of monsters from satyrs like him. The traps set by the enemy were meant to deceive and capture demigods without being detected by their protectors.

Grover can't smell the monsters because he is a satyr, a creature from Greek mythology that is part human and part goat. Unlike some animals that have a heightened sense of smell, Grover's abilities are more attuned to sensing emotions and vibrations rather than specific scents. Additionally, the monsters he encounters may be magical or supernatural beings, which could further obscure any scent they might produce. This limitation adds to the tension and danger he faces in his adventures.
Grover doesn't smell any monsters at the Thrill Ride O'Love because the trap is cleverly designed to mask the presence of danger. The ride likely has enchantments or magical elements that conceal the scent of the monsters, preventing Grover from detecting them as he normally would. This allows the trap to operate undetected, luring in unsuspecting victims without triggering their instincts.
