You are probably in high school and just want to fit in with the "in crowd." They have to accept you and sometimes that can be tough because it's known as a "clique" mean "no outsiders are welcome." Those who think they are cool generally aren't. Try making friends with one of the people in the crowd and go from there. Don't be too eager and learn to listen to what is said and what their interests are. If you don't fit in, don't feel bad. Teens generally go off into their own groups and one is just as important as the other. I learned through many years that those who blast their horn by saying they are cool, intelligent, have degrees in this and that and repeatedly insist on this are generally people that have to crow to bring attention to themselves because they simply would otherwise fade into a crowd ... they are not self confident. Those that know what they are generally are quiet about it. Learn to be different and be independent and remain true to yourself. If you aren't the cool type then don't fake it because you'll stick out like a sore thumb.
