How do you summon a minion as a warlock in wow?

If you are a warlock, you get minions by doing quests at certain levels (you can get the imp at level 1). Most of the quests are easy.

If you are a hunter, then you can start getting pets after doing a quest at level 10. It is a really easy quest and it is the only one that you have to do.

In either case, your class trainer will point you to who you have to go to.

To summon one of your demons, first look in your spell-book, on the demonology tab. There is a spell named [Summon Demon]. Once you click on it, there will be a list of minions. Choose the one you want and done. You have your minion. A lot of warlocks will move the spell to their action bars to make it easier to summon.

Warlocks start with the Imp, at level 1. After that, it is just a simple matter of going to the trainer and learning how to summon the new demons when you are of the appropriate level. Below is a list of the available demons and the levels that you get them at.

• Imp - level 1
• Voidwalker - level 8
• Felguard - level 10 (only demonology warlocks get this automatically when you learn the demonology tree)
• Succubus - 20
• Felhunter - 30
• Infernal - 50
• Doomguard - 58

When you learn a minion, after doing it's quest to get it, it is put in your spell book under the Demonology tab. You use it just like a regular spell. Some people will drag the summoning spell to an action bar or put it in a macro with other minion summons and put the macro on the action bar. Anyway, you use it just like a spell.

Provided you acquired one, you can simply open up your mounts/pets/toys menu, select "mounts" then pick which one you would like to summon. You can drag the mount icon to your action bar for faster access to the mount.
