How do you transfer Pokemon from Pokemon LeafGreen to Pokemon Pearl?

Its easy you need a ds lite and a gameboy game and a ds game (of coruse they have to be Pokemon games) then put the Pokemon you want to transfer into a PC on your gameboy gameand then save your gameboy game then turn off your ds lite then on your ds starting sceen click migate from sapphire and then you migare them oh but first you have to have a national pokedex

First you have to get the National Dex and then here are the next steps.

1. Make sure the DS is off.

2. Put Ruby or Sapphire into the bottom slot.

3. Turn the DS on.

4. When you get to the menu screen, there will be a "Migrate" option available so select that then you'll be taken into either Ruby or Sapphire's PC.

5. Select the 6 Pokemon in the PC that you want to migrate into Diamond or Pearl.

6. You'll be prompted to confirm your selections a few times and you will be warned that doing this is a transfer meaning you can't send these Pokemon back once you have migrated them.

7. Once that's done, select "Continue" on the menu and go into your Diamond or Pearl game.

8. Head to Pal Park and talk to the person there.

9. then you just run around the Pal Park and try to find the ones that you migrated. Once you do, just throw a Park Ball at it and it's caught.

Here's a few more warnings for you however.

You can't migrate Pokemon that are in your party. They MUST be in your PC.

You can't migrate Pokemon if they know a HM move such as Surf.

You can't migrate Pokemon if they have mail attached to them.

Also - in order to get the National Dex, all you have to do is see all Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex excluding Manaphy then go see Rowan oak will be there and give you the national Dex.

you need to complete the pokedex on both games then on the main screen( before you go on your game) click on transfer and then go to the pall park

PS. u can only transfer 6 Pokemon per day

To migrate: first, beat the Sinnoh elite four. then turn off your system and insert the game. (sapphire) Then, turn on the DS and choose migrate from Sapphire from the main screen on the DS game. After verifying the game is synced with the DS, you can pick 6 Pokemon to REMOVE from the game. THEY CANNOT GO BACK ONCE MIGRATED! You cannot migrate from the party and can only migrate one every 24 hours. Don't try to get around the wait, the game checks the time and date to sync with and once it has to be synced again, the wait time restarts. Once migrated, go to Pal Park and participate in a catching game.

To trade: you need two GBA's OR a GBA and SP OR 2 SP's and 2 games. THE DS HAS NO MULTIPLAYER FUNCTION FOR THE GBA GAMES!!!

First beat the elite four. Next go to the "welcome screen" that displays options like Continue, New Game, Wi-fI, ect. Scroll down. When you find an option that says "Migrate from _____" click on it. Now follow the instructions that the ds/dslite/dsi displays for you. I hope I helped!
