How do you travel quicker in red dead redemption?

Look on the map for the little wheel looking icons. Those are quick travel spots. You will see them in the game as wagon wheels sitting up with yellow text that says quick travel above them you just go to it and choose what town you want to quick travel too. To travel to a specifc spot just bring up the map, mark a waypoint, and go to the quick travel spots and choose "waypoint" from the places to travel to.

The best way is to do the missions. This does get extremely boring though and it will be hard to do missions all the way to level 50 due to the boredom. What i do is 5 missions then have some fun in free roam, it's the quickest way to level up and have fun at the same time
