How do you turn aging on in the Sims 2?

You can't, once they have "grown" you can't change them back into the stage they once were. But you can stop your sim from growing for a little while by using the Elixir of Life. But it's worth 50,000 aspiration points.

You go to the neighbourhood screen and type shif+control+c and then in the white box type: "boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true" Then enter a house. Shift-click the sim you want to make older and keep clicking more until you find 'set to birthday' click on it, then click on the sim normally and click on grow up!!!!

There are two different ways that you can do it, for both you will have to:

• Go in to the main menu and hold in together 'ctrl-alt-c' then type in to the white box 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled true'.
• Then go to the child which you want to change the age of and hold shift and click on the child.
• Go into Spawn.
• Go into 'tombstone of L and D', and look through for set birthday (or something similar)

  OR

• Go back to spawn and look through until you find 'Sim Modder' it will show 'Set Age...' an some other things like 'Vampire...' will come up
• Click in 'Set age...' and it will come up names of sims that you have in your house
• Click the name of your sim (e.g 'John...') then 'Adult'.

Hold ctrl shift and c to open the cheat box then you type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true . press enter. Hold shift while clickin your sim and thier should be something that says age sim
