How do you unfreeze your sim on The Sims 2?

If you are playing on PC, I had the same problem. Go into edit town. Click on your house. Click split up household. Move whoever is frozen out of the house. Then, a picture of the sim will apear on the side. Click on it and click place copy. Place them into another house, and make note of which house. Wait about five minutes, and take your sim out of that house, again with split up house hold again, and then place your sim back into your house.

Put the baby in the microwave, turn the setting to defrost, and set the time for 1 hour. When you come back, your baby will be defrosted.

I should mention to expect a knock at the door from the police department for child abuse and possibly murder if you do such a thing. This is against the law in any U.S. state and most countries around this world.

Just kidding. Move your family out of the house and then back in. It will unfreeze the baby.

You are probably either on build mode or simply paused look at the bar on the gotten to see if you are paused and unpause it

Just something else if youre game isn't paused or youre ain't in build mode and youre simply wont walk then i have mayby something for you

As far as i now there are 2 options (second is if you used downloads)

1) if you can load youre family with the menu (with pause and buy mode etc) then you just need to type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. then click somewhere they need to walk to. then click play and if im right (happend by me) there comes a screen with error. Just click delete it will show up a few times and keep pressing delete and then finally youre sims will move. (al youre sims on the game will move unless you quit the game and start it again)

2) if you downloaded something there shows up a blue screen before you start to play with youre town. There are standing some downloads. Normally there will not stand annything behind the downloads but if there is something wrong there will stand something behind. You need to check this. If you checked the downloads and looked if there was nothing wrong then youre sims should need to move again without any problems.

Open the cheat window in the Answers.com with the frozen Sim.

Type "resetsim (first name) (last name)" in the cheat box, where "(first name)" and "(last name)" are the first and last name of your Sim. Hit "Enter" to activate the cheat.

Watch your Sim unfreeze.

I do not think you can they are dead. Sometimes an incredible thing happens after they have been lying there for a day or two. They just get up and walk away. But you should take them inside and make them a cup of hot cocoa just in case. If there is another sim in that house get them to go outside(bundle up this time!!) and then click on the frozen sim choose the option "unfreeze sim " and go on your merry way.

I meant like unfreeze, like, not actually frozen in ice. lol. I meant like they're sleeping and they wont WAKE UP!

If you accidentally hit P (pause), press 1 for normal speed.

If you accidentally went into Build or Buy mode, click the icon for Buy mode.

If you game is just glacially slow, save and quit. When you restart the game, your lot should be normal again.

That happens to me sometimes, so i always save mine after something i do that i like. But, I have not found a way, I always have to just reboot my computer. sorry :(

If my game froze, I would press the start menu button then ctrl + alt + shift. I would bring up the task manager and end the sims 2 task. I would reload the game and see if it works.
