How do you unlock Dr Mario in Super Smash Bros. Melee?

Just so you know, toad is used for an attack in melee, not a character. Peach pulls toad out if you just press the B-button. If any character hurts toad, he will shoot some green gas from his mouth. There have been YouTube videos saying you could unlock him, but their fake. Sorry.

There are initial conditions for each character that must first be met, like playing a certain number of melees, keeping the GameCube on a certain number of hours, or playing a singleplayer level a certain way. Once this condition is met, a battle with the character will begin, and upon defeating the character, it will be available for selection in the character select screens.

unlock toa-what? simply put, you cant, toad is peaches b move though, be peach and press B while standing still and you get, toad.
