How do you unlock the islands in Poptropica?

There is no way to "unlock" or enter any unreleased Poptropica island.

You can sign up at the site for e-mail releases on new islands. The advertiser mini-games are unfortunately not included in these alerts. You should check the Poptropica blogs for info on these games.

In 2011, Poptropica added the ability to replay islands, with your Island Medallion indicating how many times you have completed it (as on Reality TV Island).

Click the small map at upper right and you will see the blue button "Restart Island." This can also be used when glitches occur. You can only get the 100 credits once, however, and the Island Medallion remains on your status list.

You have to solve the quest by collecting items and using them around the island. Each island uses a different set of items and very few will work except on the island they are on.

It is not currently possible for users to create islands on Poptropica. They are designed and released by the site after several months of drawing and programming.
